REVIEW
What a cute book! This is a fun way to teach children about sounds as well as Spanish and English terms for those sounds. The illustrations are bright and cheerful and illustrate the words perfectly. One of my pet peeves is when the illustrations don't match the texts. That is not a problem here. The only thing that would have made it better would be a pronunciation guide for those who don't speak Spanish. Other than that I can recommend the book highly as a fun way to introduce children to the world around them.
Author Talia Aikens-Nuñez
Talia Aikens-Nuñez wanted to be a meteorologist, a politician and a lawyer. She never thought she would be a writer. It was the birth of her daughter that caused her to start writing. Raising a bilingual child inspired Talia to write lyrical children’s books. These ‘first experience’ books introduce Spanish to children and parents too! Talia’s family loves nature so much that she and her husband vowed that they will always try to live close to water. She, her husband and daughter live on a river in Connecticut with their daughter Isabella.
