REVIEW
Wallace and Grace are owl friends who enjoy solving mysteries together. Wallace likes to create lists and find things. Grace is the go-getter of the duo, helping get Wallace up and active. In each book, the pair comes across a situation that requires them to investigate. In book one, a rabbit asks them to check out a garden where he swears he saw a ghost. In book two, Wallace and Grace try to discover what happened to Monty the chipmunk's cupcake. And in book three, while attempting to complete a scavenger hunt, Wallace and Grace help a puppy find his way home. With the appealing characters, cheerful, full-color illustrations, and fun story lines, this series makes for enjoyable reading for young readers. The books also do a nice job of showing problem-solving skills as Wallace and Grace make decisions about what to write down, what questions to ask, and where to go to look for answers. All-in-all, a winning series for young readers who like a good mystery.
