My Grade 6 teacher, Mr. MacBeth. I remember being younger, in Grades 2 and 3, and I always had trouble zipping up my winter parka. I never did it right, and the zipper always split from the bottom and then I'd be trapped in my parka and couldn't unzip it or get it off. He found me crying in the hallway one day, and he patiently worked at that zipper until he got me out of there. From that day on, I think I went looking for him almost every day after recess for help! He never got tired of helping me, and I always remembered his kindness. Later, in Grade 6, he was my homeroom teacher. He was my favourite elementary school teacher!
