REVIEW

The beautiful photographs and straightforward text compliment each other beautifully in this factual book for young children.  Perfect for reading aloud with beginning readers or for more independent readers to read on their own, children who are fascinated with animals will find much to enjoy here.  The book takes a brief look at the life cycle of penguins, monarch butterflies, sharks, sea horses, frogs, chickens, and kangaroos. A surefire winner for child readers who enjoy learning about animals.  The photographs do a really good job of highlighting the major stages for each of the different animals.
