REVIEW
Bear and Fish love to do things together, but their activities are always Fish's idea. Whether they climb the tallest tree in the forest, or ride the summer sled to the bakery, Fish always seems to come up with great ideas. When Fish offers to let Bear come up with the next idea, Bear becomes very stressed. She doesn't have any ideas, or so she thinks. She stays up all night trying to think of a 'new' idea. Will Bear be able to come up with something fun to do with her friend Fish, or is their friendship over? Bear's anxiety over losing her friend is very relatable. Who hasn't worried about being the right kind of friend? These delightful meditation on the power of looking at things in a new way not only focuses on the sweet friendship between Bear and Fish, but how ideas can be there even when we don't see them at first. A fun and inspiring read, perfect for sharing with young readers and creators who are struggling to find that illusive idea. Recommended.
