Another cute story about Lexie, Bella, and Maddie, this one taking place in the realm of Cupid. When every one starts feeling gloomy and mean, Lexie and her sisters decide to use the magic gained on other adventures to find out what is wrong. The end up in the realm of Cupid, but before they can find the problem, Cupid is captured by a monster and the three sisters must set out on a quest to find her. The only question is can they overcome their own fears and doubts and rescue Cupid before it is too late? Kinrade provides another fun adventure with Lexie, Bella, and Maddie. This book provides not only a cute read with lots of fun details like heart-shaped clouds, but also an inside look at the battle many kids fight to find their self-worth. I appreciated that message especially when it was delivered in such a creative way. I would recommend that the series be read in order because references are made back to previous adventures. However this is not required because there is enough back story provided for the reader to understand what is going on, I just know that I like to know what is being referred to in such flashbacks. Recommended for children, especially girls (I'm not sure many boys would read this since almost all the characters are female), who enjoy a fun fantasy with a good message.
