Children's Book Week Giveaway Hop




Welcome to my Children's Book Week Giveaway!  This giveaway is being hosted by KidLitFrenzy, Classic Children's Books, Mymcbooks & I Am A Reader, Not a Writer.  For this giveaway I am offering:

Choice of TWO children's books 
from The Book Depository.

The rules are as follows:
  1. You must be 13 or older to enter.

  3. The winner will be notified on Monday, May 14th.  They will have 48 hours to respond or I will choose another winner.

  4. I would like city of angels and city of lost souls by cassandra clare - the book depository actually lists these as children's books! If these don't count I wouls get two 'in the night garden' books cause my little boy loves these. We're reading Igglepiggles lost blanket every night at the moment!

  11. Children's books are a regular in my reading repetoire....so many great titles and a fantastic way to let your imagination run wild. MOst recently, I finished THE HERO'S GUIDE TO SAVING YOUR KINGDOM. If you like fairytales with a fun twist, you'll adore this one. Girls and boys of all ages can jump into the fun with all your favorite characters....just not like you've come to know them thanks to those fact skewering bards. ^_^

  15. We recently read Rangers Apprentice by Justin Somper. My sons love his books we are on Book 2 of the series.
    For my younger daughter we read last night Stone Soup and my other daughter loves Kathryn Lasky books Daughters of the Sea series.

  19. Just read The Borrowers Avenged. First time to read The Borrowers. I don't know how I missed these as a child. Fascinating. I'm right there in the scene with the Borrowers. Descriptions and dialogue is excellent!

  38. I am not sure what is classified as childrens books, if YA make part of that I recently read Infamous by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Amethyst Eyes by Debbie Brown. Kiddies books: I read a variety of fairy tales every evening when it is my daughters bedtime.

  55. Recently I had the pleasure of review a wonderful childrens book called Oscar by Jordan Troutt and Sarah Preston. It was wonderful! Great pictures and an awesome funny story. My son really enjoyed it!

  65. By children's book do you mean chapter book or picture book? picture book that I have read recently would be Poor Puppy by Nick Bruel. the latest chapter book would be the Bartimaeus Trilogy book 1 by Jonathan Stroud. There are so many good ones out there. . .

  69. My daughter (age 6) and I just recently discovered the insanely hilarious "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!" by Mo Willems. No exaggeration, we both had tears streaming down our face from laughing so hard. Giggle moments like that? Hands down, the best part about being a mommy!
